It was a blustery evening when I realized with a start that I was utterly locked out of my house. I had been occupied and hadn't paid attention to take my keys inside. My phone was dead inside, so I couldn't even call anyone for help.

The side door felt solid as a rock, and I had no tools on hand to force it open.
